Mikey's sketchbooks

In my sketchbooks I often do experiments/ comic shorts ranging from "slice of life" to sci-fi, to advertising ideas.
Often these are attempts at creating new works  or after designing new characters to help me in visualizing them  ,like a casting director, to see how they might fit in a role.

But many times the short 3 or 4 page sketchbook comics  are just to capture a memory or feeling of a moment.

Here are a few random panels (straight in pen with whiteout and occasional scented markers) of those sketchbook experiments.
