A little while back Matt was asked to do a flashy mock cover for a Red Sonja Vs. Princess of Mars comic book pitch.   Here is a look at Matt's process.

First a couple sketches to get more familiar with these 2 warrior beauties...

Mikey Sketches!

Another 2 pages from the old sketchbook.  The first a sequential sequence of a returning spouse followed by images under the influence and of Luis Calderon's Space Johnny(His unique comix really stick to your ribs).

The second is a ink sketch of Grape imposed over a San Diego sunset.  It is a rough of a water color spread I am working on , to be featured as a wrap up of our "One shot 2 Killz" book.
I have been planning to feature it as a whole in a digital commix mag that I have been working on these past few months.

So sorry about the lack of updates!
Lots of projects have been keeping me off the web lately ,so I will attempt to fill the void here with weekly sketchbook pages, comic book chatter/reviews, and an occasional video tutorials, and advance previews when possible.
